2026 New Years Classic
The 11th Annual New Years Classic will be held on January 2-3, 2026. This event has become the biggest and most competitive High School event in Florida. The showcase style event is open to all High School Girls Varsity teams as well as JV teams. The goal of the schedule is to pair up teams of competitive level to create a great game atmosphere. The event has traditionally brought out a number of college coaches who are able to watch the top programs and players in Florida in one weekend. The event is limited in the number of teams we can accept. Spots fill up fast so if you are interested in participating in the 2026 New Years Classic, email us at SUTSReport@gmail.com to hold your spot. FHSAA certification is pending and all games will be streamed live on BallerTV.
Before participating in an NCAA-certified event, all participating coaches will have to complete the NCAA-required background check and educational course.
You will not be able to submit an event/league application nor create a team roster prior to obtaining your USA Basketball GOLD License. Please go to www.usab.com/NCAALicense and fill out that application right away.
Additionally, the coach would need to be entered as a coach in the NCAA Basketball Certification System (BBCS); meaning that the coach either 1) created a roster in the BBCS, 2) was added to a roster an assistant coach in the BBCS, or 3) has been hired as a coach at an individual event.
